TEMPERAMENT: Very calm, endearing, sweet, incredible big dog! Good around all dogs and cats. Good with kids and all animals. Very chill big boy! Such a Great companion!! Shaved his tail since entirely full of burrs. Usually it’s thick, long and fluffy. Big red is such a great companion.
SOCIALIZATION SKILLS/NEEDS: Loves everything that moves at the moment. Has been living with a 4 y.o border collie in our Foster Program and they get along well.
PETS NEEDS/BEHAVIOURAL INFO: Needs lots of attention. She is very loving and wants to be by you all the time. She’s in the early stages of being house trained. She knows the command to sit, no and her name!
BEST MATCH: Active person / family. Big Red is incredible adorable! Acreage would be best to wander about with you. He prefers to be inside if you are. High fencing, large yard, and indoor lifestyle with walks on regular basis and areas to wander and sniff around.
FAVORITE THINGS: Hanging out with people who love him, either inside or walking outside. Walks on leash checking out sights, sounds and smells. Hiking. Comfy dog bed. Big Red loves affection, he wants someone to love him. He’s a Big love, on big very lovable giant gorgeous sweet boy! Enjoys going for car/truck rides, but doesn’t know to jump in. Due to his size bit of maneuvering with food to lure him till he learns. He’s rather a clumsy big boy! Not agile! Sort of lumbers when walks with you. So easy going and a huge joy!
