HISTORY: Surrender when family could not care for him.
TEMPERAMENT: Loveable and sweet. Snowy is good with all dogs, all sizes and people, although shy at first. Sensitve by nature. Good with cats. Not a ‘runner’ like many husky types. Likes to stick around and prefers being inside with people and on a cushy dog bed! Snowy has a very sweet disposition. Although a husky, prefers being inside if his people are inside. Likes to be with other dogs his size or larger. Super sensitive, middle of the pack. Snowy is an incredible young dog that needs leadership so he knows where he fits in. He had been homeless, found starved scrounging for food, all bones. He’s doing well now and ready for his Furever home! Snowy is such a sweetheart. He’s beginning to enjoy new people and adjusting to indoor life. He loves it!
SOCIALIZATION SKILLS/NEEDS: Ongoing socialization to new places, doing new things, experiencing more in life outside the home.
BEST MATCH: Outdoor lifestyle, especially in snow! Snowy has a long thick gorgeous coat! Would be great in the snow!! His thick long gorgeous fur can handle outdoor winter. Best match adopter home most of time since he doesn’t like being left alone. Another dog to hang out when owners gone is good. Can’t be left in car or home inside alone since tried to get out of foster home. Good in nice fenced yard when alone. Fine in home most of the time, loves to hang out on bed near you and other pets.
FAVORITE THINGS: Going for walks and running and playing in snow. Feeling safe. Being inside on cozy bed. Being taken care of. Food! Snowy is a faster learner, just needs someone to teach him.
