HISTORY: Pulled from a noisy shelter where he was very scared, on edge, no opportunity to get adopted to fearful reaction and scared of people. He has since been rehabbed and doing very well. Still needs some ongoing socialization. Please call for more info if experienced with terriers and interested in knowing more. Digit is a great companion for the right person.
TEMPERAMENT: Fiesty, playful
PERSONALITY: Outgoing but prefers to be inside unless outside in good weather and someone throwing a toy for him.
SOCIALIZATION SKILLS/NEEDS: Reward based training, clicker work. No pushovers for adoption, yet calm, easy going adopter comfortable with dogs that had a bad background and mistrustful until knows you.
BEST MATCH: Experienced pet owner, especially terriers, since Digit has a bossy personality. He arrived from a shelter where she would bite peoples shoes, did not trust people. He now is close to his adopter, fearful somewhat at sudden movements so needs home no children and quiet and understanding of his not very good past where he was not raised kindly. Good with other dogs and cats.
FAVORITE THINGS: Car rides, going places!! Being with people that he trusts.
