PERSONALITY: Shy till comfortable to join in, he’s a watcher, likes to observe his pack before joining in on the fun.
SOCIALIZATION SKILLS/NEEDS: Nervous around other animals/dogs, not as dominant as his sister, was rescued nearly feral and come very far!
PETS NEEDS/BEHAVIOURAL INFO: He needs a family that wants to take him out to see other dogs to help build his confidence around other dogs.
BEST MATCH: An adopter who understands he’s shy still after rescue being homeless at a dump, never being handled until recently during rescue and foster care. Needs one on one hand feeding. Trips to dog park around people and dogs, short leash walks with no tension, visit cafes near people, walking near stores to become desensitized. It’s easy to socialize, important to take the time! Also, dogs and puppies need to know you are the leader, that way they relax. Easy going discipline, praise for doing what you like.
