SIZE/WEIGHT: Medium when full grown (on petite size)
HISTORY: Rescued on freezing day, abandoned, hiding under a dumpster bin. Starved, freezing and had been mauled by a dog. He’s recovered now, not scared and shy. He’s a doll!!!
TEMPERAMENT: Super outgoing, extremely smart! Fast learner.
PERSONALITY: Very endearing personality. He has the cutest grin, when excited he smiles and his teeth show. It’s hilarious, so adorable. He loves dogs and puppies, so much so the mama dog of the puppies lets Joey puppy-sit! Joey never had a nice puppyhood, rescued homeless at 4 months old, he barely survived and was born in frigid weather with no one except his mother until she had no more milk and then Joey left to starve. So happy we found him!!
SOCIALIZATION SKILLS/NEEDS: Another playful pet in the home, he really needs it. Loves to cuddle with puppies and other dogs. Loves people. Super outgoing.
PETS NEEDS/BEHAVIOURAL INFO: Adopter to engage and enrich his mind. Joey is smarter than most all the dogs. Best with experienced dog owner.
BEST MATCH: Someone that would like to do Agility or Search and Rescue. He would make such a great working dog! Need to give him mental exercises not just physical. Best home with no children so can devote to having a pet, pet sport, hiking, actives with your dog. Dog parks regular basis. Joey loves to run and play with dogs! Hiker, jogger, biking, active adopter.
FAVORITE THINGS: Enjoys lounging in his crate for safety with a chewy. Dog parks to engage with other dogs, explore and run!
