PERSONALITY: Loyal & loving. Mel adores being with people and other dogs. She is very social while remaining mid/low energy, she is aware of her size and incredibly gentle in her approach. She LOVES to cuddle and is quite polite. She loves to pack walk with other dogs, does well on leash. She sometimes needs a little encouragement in new or noisy places, and is now happy to go for a ride in the car. She is excellent with all animals and people, everyone she has met has fallen in love with her sweet nature. She has been good around all sizes of dogs, needs a nice leader to teach her rules and boundaries. No experience with cats but appears would be fine since not showing any prey drive.
BEST MATCH: Mel would love a family with some outdoor space for her lounge in the sun during warmer months. She would thrive with a canine companion to play and explore or friends who have dogs to get out together to hike, dog parks to run and explore, lakes to sniff around and enjoy. She is now getting used to car rides. Mel be great with adopter to take her to new places furthering her socialization. She is very friendly and easy going, showing no signs of aggression. Basic training using reward based training since she is very sensitive. Mel is a darling, gorgeous love!
